What this edition stores
Your theme preference is stored in your browser’s local storage. Comparison filters are encoded in the URL fragment so you can share or restore them. The search box searches this site’s page titles locally; its contents are not sent to a search provider.
Correction reports
Correction reports are prepared and downloaded in your browser. They are not submitted to a server. If a publisher email is available and you choose to send a report, your chosen email application handles that message.
Cookies and analytics
This edition does not include advertising, third-party analytics, tracking cookies or payment collection. Administrators sign in with an essential, HTTP-only session cookie that expires after eight hours. Admin actions are stored in a server-side audit log; provider credentials are encrypted on the server. Public visitors do not need an account. The hosting provider may process normal technical request logs, such as IP addresses, for security and delivery. This policy must be updated before introducing services that change these practices.
